A little ragged after a month away but still a pleasant service with some special spiritual moments. Stepping back, or in my case away, has some great benefits. I came back this weekend with a renewed spirit. Praise Him!

The Aggressive Disciple

I think, I daydream, I get ideas... but too often I don't act on them. Too often I'm a passive disciple. I'm bringing this up tonight because I'm coming off of a great weekend of worship that wouldn't have happened had I not been aggressive last summer and acted on a passing thought. I sought out another worship leader for friendship, fellowship, and worship.

Gary Durbin and Bethany Melbourne opened their hearts to me because I searched them out last summer. They didn't know that I existed until I opened their door. Once opened, God's plan for us was put into play and as always something beautiful happened.

The joy of this past weekend wouldn't, and couldn't, have occurred without action. Lets be aggressive when the Spirit speaks. Lets be aggressive as God creates opportunities to get involved. Lets be aggressive as we disciple the world.

What a great day... God's people, singing God's songs, in God's house...amen?

I was blessed to be a part of the worship team at Bethany Melbourne this morning. I met Gary Durbin last year while on holiday and sitting in with his team today was awesome. God is definitely working through Gary and it was a joy to share gifts with him.

Hangin' with Gertrude

It's amazing how some of those who have gone before me, and touched my life, continue to be a part of my journey. God's plan is such that we can live on long after we go home through all the lives we touch.

Meet Gertrude, my latest beach buddy. This was our second encounter and I get the feeling that we're gonna be good friends by the end of the month. Now I'll be on the lookout for Heathcliffe... R.I.P. Red... "and may God bless"
