We had a great day today... our focus being on a heart for God... not getting lost in all the traditions, for traditions sake, but using them to help focus on the condition of our heart.

Our new bass player [Gary] is settling in... Valerie, another of our youth sat in on drums today and we continued on our journey toward a deeper worship experience.

Too many disruptions for me today... I couldn't find my seemless worship place. The congregation received an engaging worship and praise time but I struggled through having to give a lot of directions to the team.

Worship Confessional 08.16.09

Everything lined up right today. This was a great step forward for our team as we work toward experiencing a deeper level of worship. We're working weekly on personal praise and I felt the results of that this morning.

On another note this was one of our team members [Andrew] last Sunday with us as he takes to the road with a Youth Encounter team to spread God's word. We're proud to send him out into the world.
