Sound system gremlins, a time change, and bugs... what a recipe for disaster. At least on paper it is, but that was not the case this morning. On a day when our senior pastor was giving a state of the church message, it looked early on like the praise team was in for a long day. The time change got us off to a little later start than usual. During rehearsal our monitor system was just plain out-of-whack. To make matters worse our drummer was under attack all morning from those"stink bugs" which seem to be everywhere anymore. But as has been the case in the past we were not swayed by the circumstances surrounding us. The spirit was ever present and we had yet another engaging worship and praise experience. Blessings to our sound tech who is committed to making us as comfortable as possible.

This is part of the Sunday Setlist blog carnival found at Fred McKinnon's worship community.
I am so glad that God is bigger than the sound system gremlins. We did Today is the Day this sunday too. I just bought the band the "Today is the Day" cd and we will do more songs from it in the future. Thanks for sharing your list
ReplyDeleteGremlins, bugs and a time change a lot to overcome in one day! :) Glad that with God's help it was a great day!
