I woke up at 6am with a killer headache and it's been hanging with me all day. I can't seem to shake it. It's probably attributed to not enough quiet time. It was just one of those weeks.
We were not as well practiced as usual as we began rehearsal this morning. Our mid-week rehearsal time had been canceled, and our music plan was a little more challenging this week, so we had a steep learning curve to manage and by all reports we succeeded. Praise God.
We received a different and interesting message on Psalm 22 that had a fable ring to it. And we also opened our time of worship with Audrey Assad's Winter Snow. This was a bit of a stretch for us but I liked the congregational response and the worshipful flow into Amazed. It's worth taking a look at again.

Pouring It Out For You [Anderson, Lee]

Found you via The Worship Community. Interesting: "Winter Snow." I had one of my vocalists lead that song around Christmastime and hadn't thought of continuing to use it. Why not, it's still winter and there's still snow on the ground. Great song too.
