As I introduced a new song this past weekend I mentioned to our congregation that I thought God had really been smiling at rehearsal earlier that morning. There had been so many good spiritual vibes during our time together that I couldn't wait to share the blessing with them.
God wants to be with us in our time of preparing. But like our prayer time, we need to invite Him, to allow a place for Him, and to listen for His input. The ultimate Creator and Arranger wants to collaborate with us. All we need to do is make sure He's invited.
A few things you can out on; He won't be late (in fact he'll confirm immediately), He'll definitely be prepared, and best of all He'll be an avid listener. It's also been my experience that He never overplays.
