Luke 2:1-20
Today was the first of a two week Christmas in July sermon series. It was dealt a severe blow after this past weekend's events in Colorado. So like many of you, this morning presented a real world wrinkle to our plans. For myself, Tommy Walker's Heavenly Touch provided a vehicle for restoring my soul.
We experienced a tough rehearsal today due to a demanding music plan. Every once in a while (thankfully) I put together a plan that underestimates the time we have to prepare. I have only myself to blame for that, and fortunately my team excepts apologies and knows how to live forgiveness.
So personally I want to be the difference in someones life this week. I probably won't know who, or when, but I pray that I'll be on top of my game when that someone who's teetering between believing or not is in my presence.
