Three days a week I wake to take care of my sister. The divide between
us is not very large. And since my mother's move to her heavenly home,
our days and nights together have brought us even closer.
It's not a job, it's not a weight, it's a blessing. And it's reminded me of what a blessing it is to be a blessing to someone else.
Now that doesn't mean that I don't get tired, get short, or get on edge, but it does mean that I now live with a renewed purpose.
