A few months ago my wife and I were on the road again. This time we ended up
in Lima, Pennsylvania where I was scheduled later to lead worship.
We left early as usual so we could explore the area and ended up visiting an arboretum a mile or so from my booking.
What intrigued me the most was a labyrinth that was located in a nature protected meadow. About a third of the way in, I realized that I was surrounded by an enormous amount of humming and buzzing bees... bees that I'm deathly allergic to... so without much hesitation we reversed our tracks and made our way to a safer area.
When we got back to the walking path I saw these wonderfully, soft, once budding creations. It was their gentleness that caught my eye.
So much of what I see and hear in our world is hard and violent. And there seems to be a popular trend toward computerized war games and the such... and so it was that this little gentle creation, caught my eye by just being.
Pray on,
Eddy
