Something drew me to the park. There were any number of reminders of the past few days, but these two just caught my eye. There was an unusual calm about them as they waded with their backs so close to what appeared to be a dangerous situation.
Seems we often walk through life that way. Strolling along unaware of what the world is about to deliver at a moment's notice. Maybe they have the right idea, just enjoying the day, everything just ducky, and trusting that they'll be ready for the fall.
Me, (smile moment) I'm probably somewhere in the middle ...aware of tomorrow, but striving to live in the moment.
