'Dig Love' ...some background

The new album drops next Tuesday, July 22nd. It's a return to the singer-songwriter form. I've spent the last few years and couple of projects writing for the church so this was a bit of a departure. These songs have been brewing for some time now and it's a joy to finally hear them come to life.

A bit idyllic lyrically, but none the less a peaceful vision of the world where compassion for one another is normal again.

Musically it's a return to American roots rock with a respectful folk influence. Recorded in the traditional four piece band model.

Almost all of the project has been performed live at one venue or another over the last year and has been the subject of numerous conversations with friends, fans and family.

Thanks to everyone who has had a hand in bringing this project to life.
