There's a Lot of You in Me

'We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools'
~ Martin Luther King Jr.

I'm different, and I know it
I'm different, and I'm not afraid to show it
I'm different, and you might as well just roll with it
But if you look deep down inside, you gonna see,
There's a lot of you in me

We're too much alike to be the same
We're so insecure we need to blame
We're lost in ourselves, in all our pain
And You'd think by now we'd grown enough to see,
There's a lot of you in me

There's a light that shines in all of us
There's a spirit clanging to make a fuss
There's a reason, a bond, a shared truss
So it should be no surprise when you look and see,
There's a lot of you in me
