TBT: Mother's Day

This weekend we recognize another Mother's Day. I confess that hardly a day passes without some memory of my mother replaying in my mind. So I guess everyday, in some way, provides the opportunity to be Mother's Day.

Well in the spring of 1957 I was three years old, my mother was carrying my sister, and apparently by my appearance, I spent quite a bit of time at the race track.

I'm one of the fortunate ones who had a mother that defined the position. Her attention to detail and loving compassion made me a better parent (and my how my children are happy about that).

On this Mother's Day, my third without her,  I'll once again remember her smile and understanding way, and thank God for the blessing that was and always will be Mom.

Pray on,
Eddy
