Guitar Discrimination?

This past week I picked up three of my guitars that had been in the shop getting their six month set up. As I got to my car I put the Martin in the back seat and the Gibson on the back seat floor. When I looked at my Yamaha it was shaking it's neck saying no way am I riding in the trunk.

When I thought about the situation it was difficult to look my Yamaha eye to nut. I couldn't comfortably speak face to strings. I was guilty. Guilty of guitar discrimination. All of my instruments had been traveling by class for years. Those worth more were being treated to better traveling conditions. Unknowingly, I had been ignorant to my discriminative behavior.

Well after a heartfelt conversation and apology, I made amends with my creative friends and have changed my ways. No more will I carelessly open the trunk of my car and ask one of my instruments to travel in the back.

Now with my unfair ways behind me I look forward to a new relationship with all of my stringed creatives. Living redeemed, we play on!
