Sunday Setlist 06.17.12

We only had one service [instead of four] this week to recognize the departure and celebrate the marriage of one of our pastor's. Yes, I wrote that right. It was quite an eventful morning which was followed by an entertaining afternoon.

We combined a number of worship styles concentrating on engagement and flow. The results were resoundingly good with a number of visitors taking the time to search me out to express their positive experience.

    How logistically did you combine 4 services into 1?

    We carefully made sure that each service had something incorporated into the templete. When looking at the services, first I looked for where the common ground was, and then for the signature piece that gave each serive it's identity. I was surprised afterwards at how many of our congregation recognized their familier service within this combined effort.
