"Are You There God?"
Mark 5:21-43
Interesting message today... comforting and reassuring. One that will no doubt be called upon frequently this week. I have found more and more in the past few years that prayer has become very natural all through my day. Conversing with God is now a normal occurrence. And why not, God is always listening, comforting, and lovingly caring.
We stretched out a little this morning [using some different instruments and changing the context of others] and it felt good. There was a nice continuity to the service. Everything flowed very freely. This was a communion Sunday and I was looking to smooth out the edges this week and I thought we pulled it off graciously.
Lately I have found it easy theme wise to reach back in our catalog and use some of our older favorites. They've been warmly received and eagerly participated. Like an old pair of jeans they just feel good!
