We presented a Celebration of Music at all four of our services this weekend. At my Saturday night service we did a program of hymns, but today our songs were all written by Tommy Walker. Tommy has blessed our congregation on countless occasions through the gift of his songs. Today was the perfect opportunity to build a worship experience with them.
There's such a vast collection to choose from that it was easy to put together a setlist that flowed musically while still providing an enriching spiritual journey. The only problem I had was deciding which songs not to do. I found it difficult to trim the setlist down to a manageable number.
The team did an outstanding job considering we could have used more rehearsal time. Kudos also to out tech team who had a constant stream of music to mix.
