"Bless Our Work, Lord"
Every once in a while we're reminded that we're not in control of things. Now that my seem stressful, but it doesn't have to be.
The music plan that I put together for this week included three team members who were out this morning. Two of which were our drummer and percussionist. "Oh no!" The unfaithful worship leader lamented.
Just kidding, I've been doing this for more years then I can remember. And over the years my team has given way beyond any expectations I could have ever had.
So it just provided an opportunity for some creativity. After some re-arranging of vocal and instrumental parts we delivered a special morning of dynamic and conversation worship.
All this happening on a morning when we were intentionally bringing to the forefront what The Heart of Worship reminds us... on a Sunday where we remembered the lighting of the candles as a sign of worship beginning.
This truly was a morning of remembrance, some planned, and some spontaneous spirituality as I'm sure God intended.

The Heart of Worship [Redman]

Turn It Around [Houghton, Lindsey]
Great Is Thy Faithfulness [Chisholm, Runyan]
