Mark 8:27-38
Today was our annual Homecoming service. A service in which we bless school backpacks and generally recognize the start of our small groups and week day/night schedule. We also gather in a picnic setting afterwards.
It wasn't much of a celebration early on (for me) as a wake up cancellation caused a shift of instruments and quite a bit of rearranging all this on a morning where we aren't afforded a complete sound check.
A giant thank you to my team for being so flexible and adjusting so willingly. I also need to recognize our tech team for re-setting the platform and the quality sound.
Yeah, sometimes we find ourselves in "say what?" moments. Places where we didn't expect ourselves to be. But remembering who cares for us, who loves us, who created us, helps to just lean on our faith and say "I am Yours!"
