Today was the first of a three week sermon series on The Bread of Life. The theme has allowed us to bring a few older favorites back into rotation for a few weeks. This morning our congregation rose to the occasion making these songs vibrant again. I love when that happens.
Personally, I was not operating with a full tank this morning. I had participated in an event last night that ran late in the evening and also was outdoors in some very oppressive heat. So my energy was severely tested throughout the service. I hate when that happens.
Our pastor mentioned how cool it is that scripture can continue to amaze and astound. How awesome that God can continue to amaze and astound me day after day. I love when that happens.
